Latest Irish Box Office Figures

Cast your balls of eye to the right of your screen for the latest Irish BO figures. Avatar is about to smash through the 6 million mark and cinemas around the country are still selling out night after night for Cameron’s mighty Titanic sinker! It’s complicated is surely the surprise hit so far of 2010. Maybe the Irish just can’t get enough of Mrs. Mama Mia! The bloody chipmunks are cleaning up and Jim Sheridan’s Brothers has done a pretty respectable amount of box office takings!

To the best of my knowledge, Titanic pulled in around €8 million and as far as I know, it is the highest grossing movie in Irish box office history. Avatar is on course to hammer that off the top spot and I would reckon it has sunk Mama Mia and its €6 million box office record off the second place!
