Ab Fab fans rejoice, as Edina and Patsy are back, and, if the first trailer is any indication, Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley haven’t lost a step as the beloved pair of hard drinking socialites. Their big screen debut follows the trend of most BBC sitcom to movie adaptations, getting the main characters out of their familiar surroundings, in this case the South of France, where “everyone’s a criminal”, after the pair become pursued by the paparazzi following a fatal faux pas at a fashion event.
Fans of the t.v. show will no doubt eat this up, and while it newcomers may something so established a bit daunting, there is a certain cameo laden charm to it, and enough there to keep you chuckling.
