On Saturday, we had a sneak peek at the Green Lantern and now the full trailer has gone online. Starring Ryan Reynolds (Buried) the movie tells the story of a test pilot who is bestowed a mystical green ring that basically allows him to do all kinds of cool stuff. Besides that he also gets a membership card to an intergalactic squadron who attempt to keep peace within the Universe.
It certainly looks alot better than the other “Green” movie, ie The Green Hornet but, and maybe it’s me, it’s not exactly mind-blowing either. It look’s rather cheesy and by the numbers and even a wee bit childish. I’m not a fan of the DC comic, but I wonder how the fans are feeling this morning after viewing the trailer.
