IRISH COMEDY 'EAMON' TO BE RELEASED ON DVD

SHARE:

Cork born writer/director Margaret Corkery's first feature film Eamon is set to go on sale at retail outlets nationwide on November 19th for €9.99. For those of you who missed this brilliant dark comedy the first time round, Eamon revolves around the character of the same name, a quiet but disturbed 6 year old who can't handle his Coke (...as in Cola), wonderfully played by newcomer Robert Donnelly. When his feisty mother and dull but doting daddy bring him on a holiday, Eamon's fervent affections for his mother ensure that his daddy is left nursing a severe case of sexual frustration. Having deservedly picked up numerous awards on the film festival circuit including awards for Best Film, Best Script and Best Actress, Eamon is one of the best films to come out of Ireland is a long time. Understated with a sharp sense of humour, if you missed it the first time, shame on you! Go get that DVD!
