At the annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, Machete star Danny Trejo popped by with some information regarding the speculated sequel, Machete Kills. He says that when he spoke recently to director Robert Rodriquez about the project, Rodriguez revealed the final draft of the script is finished, so the pair will be looking to start very soon. So does this mean that Rodriguez is fast tracking the flick and pushing Sin City 2 (if that will ever actually happen) and the rumored Deadpool adaptation aside? Personally, I'd rather he do his thing with Machete Kills, as the first was a complete blast of Mexploitation goodness!
