Ah, Kevin Smith. He's delivered golden comedy. He's mastered sweet romance. He even took a decent stab at the buddy cop sub-genre. Now he's taking a crack at Horror. And by the looks of the teaser trailer just released on his site Smodcast (see the trailer here), he's nailed it. Not only does Red State look frightening, but it looks like Smith has teamed a great 70's trashy exploitation style with a true-to-life fundamentalist theme.
I've pretty much got nothing else to say except this looks epic. Red State is going right up there at the top of the must-see list.
