Finally, it seems that Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky has settled on his next movie. For a while, it was expected to be Human Nature with George Clooney (about a future with aliens and human pets - amazing) but now Deadline report that he's going full steam ahead with his dream project, a giant Noah's Ark movie he first wrote when he was 11. Word is he's going to studios with the movie looking for 130 million dollars, smack bang in blockbuster territory. New Regency are interested in partly backing it also, so the studio wouldn't have to take the full brunt of it should they invest. It's described as a huge fantasy epic with plenty of scope for Aronofsky to indulge as much as he wants, and I for one really hope it goes ahead this time. Not only does the movie sound great, there's something pretty cool about seeing a director get to make a story he first penned when he was just a kid.
