Hard to contain my excitement, even though this isn’t even a promo photo – it’s a drawing. Still though - this poster, debuted at the Licensing International Expo, is the beginning of a year of no doubt full on promotion for arguably the most ambitious superhero movie we have yet seen.
There is a lot of talk that Disney won’t come to Comic Con and sell their wares this year – they spent three years using it to sell Tron and that only did average business for them – so there has been rumblings that Marvel won’t come either. If they do though, expect at the very least a little teaser to get the excitment going properly. The poster shows the main cast all costumed up, but as it’s a drawing you can expect to see some changes in the real thing, probably with Black Widow and Iron Man who’ll get some upgrades, and Capt. America getting a fresh suit. Check out the poster below – the movie opens May 4, 2012.
