When Sylvester Stallone's epic action flick, The Expendables, first debuted many action junkies were quite peeved that the long rumored Schwarzenegger/Willis/Stallone scene had been whittled down to nothing more than a 60 second run in. Having the trio exchange memories about how they were the greatest mercenaries in the world...it simply didn't work. Show us, don't just tell us.
Simon West, director of The Expendables 2, seems to have taken note, as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis are now confirmed as having "substantial" roles in the sequel. This comes days after two new additional cast members signed on. The Expendables 2 begins principal photography in October with Lionsgate overseeing. Schwarzenegger and Willis round out the cast with Sylvester Stallone, Terry Crew, Jean Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Jason Statham, Jet Li and Mickey Rourke.
