Nick Broomfield is no stranger to controversial documentary subjects – be they Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss or serial killer Aileen Wuornos (basis Charlize Theron’s movie, Monster). He’s now back with a new, politically charged movie in which he tracks down former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin.
It’s a great trailer and good to see that Broomfield isn’t backing down in his approach to documentaries – he even gets to speak to her, albeit briefly. Whilst his motivation isn’t totally clear yet, it’s very obvious that this is not a Palin love-in.
The movie opens in a limited capacity in the US soon, but will no doubt spread around afterwards.
