It's official, the first trailer for one of 2012's most anticipated movies will be released this Tuesday, October 11th. In a short statement on their official Facebook page, Marvel announced that the trailer will appear online in 5 days.
Following the recently released pictures from the set, the upcoming trailer will be our first chance to see the whole Avenger team together in action (other than the brief teaser). In case you didn't know, the Avengers is the superhero movie to end all superhero movies, and sees Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) team up with various other heroes under the leadership of S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). Directing this epic is Angel, Buffy and Firefly creator Joss Whedon. The Avengers is due for release on the 4th of May 2012.
