Now, let me get something out of the way. Normally, in fact, 99.9% of the time, this type of film does not work. Killers, Agent Cody Banks, Stormbreaker, etc etc. Comedic spy movies normally just suck, plain and simple. But that said, there are some gems like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which combined great action with solid performances and a decent script. So, with that said, could This Means War be the exception to the rule? I certainly think so. It's got two solid leading men (who are extremely capable actors) and what looks to be solid set-pieces and some lightly funny dialogue. I don't mean to say it looks great, just that it certainly looks fun...in that typical Hollywood way.
