The second official trailer for Meryl Streep’s The Iron Lady has just been released online. Directed by Phyllida Lloyd, The Iron Lady sees Meryl Streep play the former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The film follows her throughout her controversial political career, with a focus on the price she paid for power. Considering the subject matter and the talent involved, you can expect this to be a strong contender at next year’s Oscars.
The Iron Lady is due out on the 13th of January 2012.
