The second phase of Marvel Studio's attempt to create a rich, cinematic universe comparable to the one they've created in the comic books kicks off with Iron Man 3 at the end of the month, and cumuilates with The Avengers 2 in 2015. In between them we have Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Guardians Of The Galaxy, and Geek Zenith have given us a look at concept drawings for the latter two movies.
Coming from The Russo Brothers (Welcome To Collinwood), Captain America: The Winter Soldier picks up where The Avengers left off, with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) attempting to adjust to life in the modern world. That is made more difficult when his long thought dead best friend Bucky (Sebastian Stan) comes back into his life as the lethal assassin The Winter Soldier. The concept art below show a confrontation between the two, with the design on The Winter Soldier looking quite similar to the comics. It is released April 24th 2014.

A bit more substantial is art from Guardians Of The Galaxy. Directed by James Gunn (Slither, Super), this is considered a bit of a gamble on the part of Marvel Studio's, being one of the companies more off beat properties. With a cast that includes a talking, machine gun wielding raccoon, and a giant talking tree it is easy to see why. From the below art, I get the feeling they are attempting to capture an almost Star Wars feel to the story, which sees astronaut Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) forced to team up with a band of alien renegades in a far off galaxy, especially from the final picture of an alien bar.
