Daniel Radcliffe's quest to put the boy wizard well and truly behind continues with Horns, Alexandre Aja's adaption of Joe Hill's dark fantasy novel of the same name. Radcliffe plays Ignatius "Ig" Parrish, a young man who finds that he is growing two horns from his head, bringing with them strange supernatural powers, as he investigates the rape and murder of his girlfriend (Juno Temple). New images from the movie have surfaced, giving us another look at Ig and his strange affliction. Anybody who has read the book will know the character has his fair share of dark moments as the story unfolds, so it will be interesting to see where Radcliffe goes with the role.
Horns made it's premiere today at the Toronto International Film Festival, with a U.S. release date set for October 11th. No date has been set for Europe as of yet.
