With the finale of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy coming to us in December, there are rumblings that the movie could be receiving a title change from The Hobbit: There and Back Again to The Hobbit: Into The Fire, after New Line was said to have registered the latter name. Now, There and Back Again (also part of the original novels title) has been in place from the very beginning, back when the book was been broken into only two movies, and just felt right. While Into the Fire (present in both the novel and movies as part of a chapter title and line of dialogue, respectively) does seem fitting, especially considering how The Desolation of Smaug ended, there's just something that doesn't feel right about it. It could be just for the last few years I've been conditioned to accept There and Back Again. With the movie dropping at the end of the year, expect to see promo material for the movie in the coming weeks, which should clear all this up.
