Clint Eastwood takes the helm of American Sniper (originally, Steven Spielberg had signed on), based on the memoir of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, who racked up a total of over 150 confirmed kills from 1999 to 2009, earning the name 'The Legend' from his Navy Seal brother, and 'The Devil' from the Iraqi insurgents who put a bounty on his head. The first images from the movie, courtesy of USA Today, have hit, featuring Bradley Cooper as Kyle and co-star Sienna Miller. A trailer debuts later today, and it will be interesting to see Eastwood's take on this story.
