A few hours earlier than we were promised, the first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows has come our way, promising the action will be turned all the way up to eleven for the Heroes in a Half Shell this time round.
With quite a number of fan favourite characters, including Casey Jones (Stephan Amell) and Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE’s Sheamus), present this time round, it seems the liberties taken with the characters, mainly in looks, have been toned all the way down with the new characters looking more in line with their cartoon counterparts, some unfinished CGI aside. This should go some way to appeasing the hardcore fan (but probably won’t). As a whole, the sequel looks like a massive step up from the original, which, while fun, felt very small. New director David Green (Earth to Echo) certainly seems to be lending a different type of energy to it, that promises a crazy and entertaining ride.
