Ever since Spider-Man: Homecoming was announced, the persistent rumour doing the rounds was that the big bad this time round would be the high flying Vulture, with Michael Keaton strapping on the wings to play the role. Now, it’s being confirmed, with Marvel Studio's Comic-Con playing host to this awesome piece of concept art showing off not only the Vulture, but giving us another look at Spidey’s awesome new, Steve Ditko inspired costume.
The Vulture is a villain Sam Raimi wanted way back in Spider-Man 3, but was cut due to the inclusion of Venom, so it’s great that we’re finally getting to see him on the big screen. I love the look of his technologically advanced suit, and that wing span is huge!!!!! And his inclusion promises some amazing septettes. Sure, Spidey has had some aerial battles before, but the fluidity and grace of The Vulture promises to bring them to the next level.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is released July 7th 2017.
