After sixteen years, Hugh Jackman is hanging up the claws after the third Wolverine movie, and of course, people have been waiting clamouring to hear anything about the fast healing mutant's final, adventure. We do know that Essex Corp, teased in the end credits of X-Men: Apocalypse, will be the big bad this time round, but beyond that, concrete details have been very thin on the ground. Well, after months of almost nothing, Jackman and director James Mangold have taken to Twitter to ease the wait until the movie’s 2017 release date. First up, Jackman has dropped the biggest bombshell so far, the movie’s title, via an intriguing poster featuring our heroes entwined with a mysterious child's:
So, Logan. Simple and to the point. It also ties into Old Man Logan, the future set comic book storyline the movie is said to take inspiration on, suggesting that the Wolverine persona is long gone, with only the man left under the mask left. Not to be out done, Mangold shared with us a page from the script, showing off the fact that this movie will be taking a page from Deadpool’s book and going for an R-Rating. What does that mean for Logan? F-bombs, graphic violence, and some very permeant death for those grunts unlucky enough to get in our hero’s way:
